Part 1 – Before you start: preparing your phone, the app, and the device

1. What you need

  • PLR System Wellness device fully charged.
  • Phone with the PLR System Wellness app installed.

Important: Important: The PLR System does not replace medical advice. Always use it as a wellness support tool, within the recommendations of your healthcare professional.

2. How to turn on the device and enter Bluetooth Mode

For the app to communicate with the PLR System Wellness, it is important to turn on the device correctly and put it in Bluetooth Mode:

2.1 – Turn on and enter PROGRAMMING

  • Press and hold the green button until “PROGRAMMING” appears on the display.
  • When “PROGRAMMING” appears, release the button.

2.2 – Enter Bluetooth Mode

  • After “PROGRAMMING”, the display will show the message “Bluetooth?”.
    • When “Bluetooth?” appears, press the button once more for 2 seconds and check whether a blue light is blinking on the side of the device (this indicates that the PLR is in programming mode).
  • The device will enter “Bluetooth Mode”, allowing communication with the app.

2.3 – Attention:

  • If the smartphone is not in Bluetooth Mode, the app may not be able to update information, read credits, or send programs.
  • You do not need to pair the PLR with your smartphone, as it connects automatically.
  • Just:
    • Keep the phone’s Bluetooth turned on,
    • Turn on the PLR,
    • Enter Bluetooth Mode on the device display,
    • And then open the app to use the functions (update, send applications, add credits, etc.).

3. Activate the phone’s Bluetooth (no pairing required)

Before using the app:

  • On your phone, go to Settings.
  • Tap Bluetooth.
  • Just leave Bluetooth turned on.

It is not necessary to pair/configure the PLR on the phone’s Bluetooth screen. You do not need to look for the device in the list of devices or confirm the connection manually.

The connection with the PLR is made automatically by the app itself whenever you:

  • send applications to the device,
  • update information,
  • check your credits,
  • redeem new credits.

If the device is turned on and close to the phone, the app takes control of the connection by itself.

4. App home screen: understanding the icons

When you open the PLR System Wellness app, you will see a top bar with four icons:

Leaf (🌿) – Programs
Where you create, edit, and send applications to the device.

7. How to view and add credits in the PLR System

Credits are required to send applications to the device.

7.1. Checking your credits

  • Tap the 💳 icon Credits.
  • Tap “Update information” again.

The app will automatically connect to the PLR and display the available Quantity of credits.

7.2. Adding credits with a code

When you receive a credit code:

  • Turn on the PLR device and leave the phone’s Bluetooth on.
  • Open the app and go to 💳 Credits.
  • In the “Code” field, enter the code you received.
  • Tap “Redeem”.
  • Then tap “Update information” so the app can read the new credits on the device.

If the code is valid, the Quantity of credits will be updated.

If “—-” appears, check the following:

  • Whether the phone’s Bluetooth is on and the blue side light is lit.
  • Se o aparelho está ligado.
  • Toque novamente em “Atualizar informação”.

Caso terminem seus créditos, basta clicar no suporte para adquirir mais.

8. If an error message or communication failure appears

At certain times, a communication error may occur between the app and the device (for example, when updating information, redeeming credits, or sending a program).

When this happens, do not try to repeat the same command immediately (for example, do not tap “Send to device” again for the same program).

The correct procedure is:

8.1 – Turn off the PLR device

  • Use the device’s own button or the “Turn off” option in the app (when available).

8.2 – Completely close the app on the phone

  • Exit the app and remove it from the recent apps list to ensure it is fully closed.

8.3 – Wait a few seconds

  • Wait 5 to 10 seconds with the device turned off and the app closed.

8.4 – Turn the PLR device back on

  • Make sure the phone’s Bluetooth is turned on.

8.5 – Open the PLR System Wellness app again

  • Go back to the main screen.
  • Vá em Device information (ℹ️) e toque em “Atualizar informação” para reconstruir a conexão.

8.6 – Repeat the process that failed

  • If the error occurred while sending a program, prepare it again in the app and only then tap “Send to device”.
  • If it happened while redeeming credits or updating data, repeat the process from scratch after reconnecting.

Summary: if an error occurs, always restart the device and the app before trying again. This prevents crashes and ensures a clean communication between the phone and the PLR.

Part 2 – Creating programs and sending them to the PLR System

9. Accessing the Programs menu

  • Open the PLR System Wellness app with the device turned on and the phone’s Bluetooth enabled.
  • Toque no ícone da folha (🌿) – é o menu de Programações.
  • You will see the list of programs to select, and the “+ New” button in the lower left corner.

It is with this “+ New” button that you select a new application to be sent to the device.

You can set up a sequence with several programs before sending them to the device. Important: the PLR runs one application at a time. At the end of each application, the device turns itself off. To run the next program already stored, just turn the PLR back on (by holding the green button for about 2 seconds). So, for each new application you repeat the process of turning on the device so it starts the next stored program.

10. Creating a new program
10.1. Choosing the program / frequency

Tap “+ New”.

The “Program Selection” screen will open, with a list of options, for example:

    • RM-1, RM-2
    • REG E CIC
    • OSTARTIC
    • REGOSSEA
    • OMP-1, OMP-2
    • PROTO-1, etc.

10.2 – Use the search bar at the top if you want to find a program by name.

10.3 – Tap the desired program to select it.

    • In some cases, you can tap the arrow next to the name to see variations or more details (when available).
  • The choice of program should follow the indications of your protocol, support material, or supervising professional.

After choosing the program, the app moves on to the PROGRAMMING screen.

11. Setting time, intensity, and repetitions

On the PROGRAMMING screen you set how the program will run on the device:

11.1 – Select the desired duration (minutes)

  • Options: 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes.
  • Tap the desired time; the selected button will be highlighted.

11.2 – Select the desired intensity

  • Options: Low or High.
  • Tap the intensity you want to use.

11.3 – How many times to repeat?

  • Use the – and + buttons to set how many times the program will repeat.
  • For example:
    • 1 time → runs once for the selected duration.
    • 2 times → runs twice in a row, adding up the durations.

11.4-After adjusting time, intensity, and repetitions, tap “Save”.

  • If you want to cancel, tap “Back” without saving.

12. Viewing and organizing the list of programs

After saving, you return to the leaf (🌿) screen, where you will see a list of saved programs, for example:

  • RM 01 – 1.1 Hz

    • Location: Head

    • Duration: 30 minutes

    • Intensity: High

  • OA 11 – 3900 Hz

    • Location: Affected area

    • Duration: 15 minutes

    • Intensity: Low/High

  • RC 01 – 101 Hz

    • Location: Head/Affected area

    • Duration: 10 minutes

    • Intensity: High

Each card shows the program name, frequency (Hz), suggested location, duration, and intensity.
Next to it, there is a trash icon to delete a program if you want.

  • To add a new program, tap “+ New” again and repeat the process.

  • You can set up a sequence with several programs before sending them to the device.

13. Sending the programs to the device

When the list is ready:

13.1 – Make sure that:

  • The PLR device is turned on in “Bluetooth Mode”;
  • The phone’s Bluetooth is active (no need to pair manually).

13.2-Na tela das programações (folha 🌿), toque no botão “Enviar ao dispositivo” (botão vermelho).

13.3 – The app will start the communication and show a progress bar such as “Update information 42.86% / 85.71%…”.

13.4-During the transfer:

  • It is normal for the progress to stop for a few seconds around 85% (more or less).
  • Even if it seems “stuck”, this is part of the internal recording process.
  • Do not turn off the device.
  • Do not close the app.
  • Avoid moving the phone away from the PLR.

As soon as the process reaches 100%, the programs will be stored on the device and ready to use.

Reminder: sending programs uses the device credits, so it is important to check your credit balance before starting (see Part 1, item 7).

If a clear communication error message appears (and not just this “pause” at 85%):

Then you should follow the procedure in Part 1, item 8: turn off the PLR → completely close the app → wait a few seconds → turn the PLR back on → open the app → update information → resend.

Part 3 – Turning off the device and application guidelines

14. How to turn on the PLR to start an application

After the programs have been created in the app and sent to the device, turning on the PLR to start the application is very simple:

    • Make sure the device is turned off.
    • Press and hold the green button for about 2 seconds.
    • Release the button and wait.
    • The display will light up and first show how many credits are still available on the device.
    • Then, the first program in the queue will start automatically.

At the end of the application:

  • The device turns itself off.
  • To run the next program, just turn it on again (hold the green button for ~2 seconds) and wait for the new application to start.
  •

From that moment, the application time starts counting. If you turn off the device with 3 quick clicks before 10 seconds are completed, that session is not counted and no credit is deducted (as explained in the next item).

15. How to turn off the PLR device (3 clicks of 1 second)

While in use, you can turn off the PLR directly using the device button.

  • To turn off the device: press the button quickly 3 times in a row.

If the device is running an application, these 3 clicks will stop the application and turn off the device.

Rule for the first 10 seconds of the application

When you start an application (a program sent by the app):

  • Se você desligar o aparelho (3 cliques rápidos) antes de completar 10 segundos:
    • A aplicação não é considerada como executada;
    • A frequência atual não é “resetada” nem descartada do aparelho;
    • Não é descontado o crédito referente àquela aplicação;
    • Você pode ligar o PLR novamente e reiniciar a aplicação normalmente.
  • Once the application goes beyond this initial period (10 seconds), it is counted normally by the device, including the use of credits according to its operating protocol.

In summary:

  • 3 clicks = turn off the device.
  • If you turn it off within the first 10 seconds, you end the attempt without losing the program and without any credit being deducted.

16. How to position the device during the application

The PLR System Wellness uses red light, infrared, and a magnetic field.

  • Can it touch the skin? Yes, there is no problem if the device touches the skin during the application.
  • Qual é a posição ideal?
O ideal é manter uma distância aproximada de 5 cm da pele.
    Nessa distância, você tem:
    • Maior amplitude da área alcançada pela luz vermelha e infravermelha;
    • Distribuição mais uniforme do campo magnético;
    • Uma área de ação mais ampla em vez de concentrar tudo em um ponto muito pequeno.

Practical recommendations:

  • Position the device so that the irradiated area covers the region indicated by the protocol.
  • Avoid moving the device all the time; keep a stable position during the application.
  • Use the full programmed time (unless there is a different recommendation from your protocol or supervising professional).
  • Do not wear mainly dark clothing between your body and the device, so as not to reduce its penetration power.

17. Using the clamp arm (articulated support)

To make the application easier, the PLR System Wellness comes with a clamp arm that works as an articulated support.

To attach the device to surfaces such as:

  • Chairs
  • Tables
  • Bedside headboards

It allows you to:

  • Adjust the PLR position to keep a comfortable distance from the area to be treated, without needing to hold the device with your hands.

The application can be done with the device touching the skin, without any problem. However, ideally it should be kept at a distance of about 5 to 25 cm from the skin:

The closer it is, the more concentrated the light becomes in a smaller point.

The farther away it is, the more the light spreads and reaches a larger area of the body.

Usage suggestions:

  • For longer applications, attach the clamp arm to the edge of the chair or table and adjust the device so it faces the desired area.
  • Make sure the set (clamp + arm + device) is stable, with no risk of falling.
  • Check that when you move, you do not leave the light/field coverage area.

18. Applications with OMP frequencies (no light, long range)

OMP programs have special characteristics:

18.1 – Extended duration time

  • OMP frequencies can last up to 480 minutes (8 hours), according to the configured protocol.
  • They are suitable for long-period applications (for example, during sleep or prolonged rest).

18.2 – No light emission

  • With OMP frequencies, the device does not emit visible light.
  • The effect is produced mainly by the electromagnetic field at the programmed frequency.

18.3 – Extended range radius

  • The electromagnetic field generated by OMP can reach a radius of up to 120 cm in distance.
  • Isso significa que:
    • O aparelho pode ficar sobre uma mesa, criado-mudo, cadeira ou suporte,
    • E a pessoa pode permanecer dentro desse raio de aproximadamente 1,2 m para receber a aplicação.

Practical examples of OMP use:

  • Leaving the PLR on the nightstand next to the bed at night, with the OMP program active.
  • Positioning the device near the place where the person usually sits or lies down during a rest period.

Important reminder:

    • Even with greater range and extended time, OMP frequencies do not replace medical follow-up or conventional treatment.
    • The choice of program and duration must always follow the protocol provided with the equipment or the guidance of the supervising professional.
